Sasha Hatfield (born Sasha Kraichnan) was born in the mountains of New Hampshire. She graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a BA in Theatre, and received further training at Regents College in London and at Circle in the Square in New York City. She moved to NYC immediately after school, and spent two years performing in theatre and small film projects.
In 2011, Sasha moved to Boston, where she did lots of Shakespeare, including touring with Shakespeare Now! Represented by Boston Casting, filmed various commercials (Bernie and Phyl's Furniture, Cash For Gold, etc.), industrials and voice overs. She founded Wax Wings Productions and, in 2012 mounted the Boston chapter of the national smash hit sketch comedy, 'Bye Bye Liver: The Drinking Play."
It was through "Bye Bye Liver: Boston" that she met her now husband, Chicago-based writer/director Byron Hatfield. They opened The Public House Theatre in Wrigleyville in 2013, which houses "Bye Bye Liver: The Chicago Drinking Play," as well as a large variety of new works, predominantly featuring comedy.
Sasha lives in Chicago with her beloved Husband and their Shih Tzu, Samurai. Sasha wants a Koala for her birthday. She can currently be seen singing, dancing and screaming as Marion Crane in "Bates: An 80s Musical 'Psycho' Parody," playing on Fridays and Saturdays at 10pm at The Public House Theatre.
